Background:
Millfield Primary is a village school built in the 1960s. Recently refurbishment has resulted in a new library, special educational needs centre and information and communication technology (ICT) suite. The ICT centre is equipped for whole class teaching and the school is online through the Lincolnshire Internet. The school provides music clubs including recorders, guitar, choir and orchestra. There are facilities for junior children to take up school based private instrumental tuition. The school tries to introduce children to a wide variety of sports. Children compete in local football and netball leagues. The school aims to provide a stimulating and caring learning environment, which is safe and secure, where each child is valued and supported as an individual.
