Saint Augustine Webster Catholic Primary School was built in 1966, and has had extensions in 1972, 1986 and 1999. The site has its own playing fields and ornamental shrubs. The school'serves the parish of Holy Souls Church in central Scunthorpe. Extra-curricular sports include football, netball, cricket and cross-country. There is also chess and choir, and pupils are entered in a Speech and Drama Festival. Pupils are encouraged to raise funds for charities such as Unicef, Cafod and Comic Relief. There is an after-school club available in the evenings and holidays.
