Opened in 1920; moved to current pleasant site in late 1950s; new blocks added in 1986, 1993, 1995, and 2005. Modern sports hall; sport plays important role in life of school; success at county, district and national level. Latin, French and German are compulsory in lower school, optional at GCSE.
