Background:
The school was founded in 1845 as Spalding National School and became Spalding Parish Church of England Day School 1999. Housed in modern buildings which have been constructed in various phases over the last 50 years, the school has 'large open' grounds in a residential area on the east side of Spalding. 'The school is committed to supporting communities where there is need.' Annual fund raising, church collections, plays and concerts are all used to provide money for both national and local charities. For three years running a cricket team was entered in the Lincolnshire primary schools competition, becoming county champions once and runners up twice. The team has also represented the County in the East Midland area finals.
