Background:

Navenby was built in 1975 and is set amidst attractive undulating green fields. It has seven classrooms, an assembly and physical education hall, a library, cloakroom, an administration block, a playground, a computer suite and a kitchen. In addition, there is a children's quiet garden and a large playing field. Children come mainly from Navenby and the surrounding villages and there are strong links with local playgroups and secondary schools in the area. Navenby is proud of the support it gets from parents in the common aim of educating the children in its care. Outside the regular curriculum, pupils can participate in a variety of activities including dance, drama, music, sports, recorder and orchestra. Swimming is undertaken at North Kesteven Sports Centre. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
