Background:
St Peter and St Paul, Lincoln's Catholic High School was founded in 1954, the school serves the Catholic, Christian and multi-faith communities of Lincoln. It is located in spacious grounds and provides an excellent working environment with extensive playing fields, state-of-the-art sports hall and five main buildings. The full range of national curriculum subjects is offered. The sixth form offers shared provision with local schools, and its curriculum is currently being extended. Extra-curricular activities include sport, music, drama and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. The school maintains 'strong community links' and organises regular charity fundraising events. It received an Excellence Award in 2000. This is a school community, which lives out the Gospel values and answers the challenge of providing a fully rounded education. St Peter and St Paul is a community of faith where pupils are given opportunities to grow in knowledge and understanding of God.
