Background:

Scotter Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. The school was built in 1935. During 1994 extensive remodelling took place creating a modern building offering excellent facilities. It has a large hall equipped with gymnastic apparatus and children have full use of the adjoining playing field belonging to the Scotter War Memorial Playing Field Association. The school has two well-stocked reference libraries and a large book collection in each class. The school has its own ICT/TV room with modern computer systems, CD ROMs and CD players. All classrooms are carpeted and are well resourced with science, maths, technology, geography, history, RE and art equipment. The school also has a wide range of musical instruments for children to play.
