Background:

The Edenham Church of England School is situated within a conservation village two miles north of Bourne. The school draws pupils' from surrounding villages and Bourne. The junior block was contructed in 1876 and the infant department was added in 1998. School accommodation includes a specialist Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and music room. Pupils' are offered many musical opportunities and more than a third are currently learning the violin or cello. Edenham has developed a good partnership with parents and the community in addition to close links with the nearby Church. Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are integrated into mainstream classes and where necessary advice is sought from specialist teachers at the local education authority.
